Good advice

Humility is important.


I recently had occasion to receive the following nuggets of advice: "It is an open community discussion, try to learn to respect any opinions and
everybody who contributes to [the project]." "Respect everybody's ... opinion and don't get overexcited when there is something that you don't like." "try to be tolerant and patient, we are all professionals, don't be too pushy." I try not to be the sort of person who needs this kind of advice, but it's good to get it when it's needed.
